Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has been a catalyst for significant disruption across various industries, compelling organizations to reassess their strategic approaches. This paper delves into the interplay between technological disruption and strategic decision sciences, exploring how the former influences the latter. It argues that the pace and nature of technological advancements necessitate a reevaluation of traditional strategic planning frameworks. The paper examines several key areas where technological disruption has had a profound impact on strategic decision-making, including the emergence of digital transformation, the rise of artificial intelligence, and the shift towards agile and flexible business models. Furthermore, the paper discusses the challenges associated with integrating technological disruption into strategic decision sciences, such as data overload, ethical considerations, and the need for continuous learning. By analyzing case studies and offering recommendations for best practices, the paper aims to provide valuable insights for practitioners and scholars in the field of strategic decision sciences.
